Sobre mí

Hello!

I’m a native English speaker from Cambridge in the UK and have been living in Seville for five and a half years. I speak Spanish at B2 level.

I have several years’ experience teaching English to both children and adults, including one-to-one lessons and group classes. I have also worked for six months as an English teacher in a Business English academy, an experience I enjoyed.

I believe that learning English should be useful, enjoyable and connected to real life. I like to adapt my lessons to each student’s interests, needs and learning style, and I enjoy bringing fresh ideas and authentic materials into the classroom.

I have beena member of my childrens AMPA and have designed and delivered a workshop for children. This has given me additional experience of planning and delivering activities for young learners.

Before moving into teaching, I worked for more than ten years in administration and coordination. This taught me the importance of being organised, reliable and cooperative, as well as communicating effectively with different people.

### Museums and English!

I have a particular interest in using real-life materials and experiences to bring English to life. I have a diploma in Museum Studies and I’m passionate about museums, objects and cultural experiences as a way of making language learning more interesting and meaningful.

I can bring creativity, enthusiasm and a different perspective to English lessons, while still providing a structured and supportive learning environment.

I look forward to helping students develop their confidence in English and, most importantly, enjoy using the language.
