Sobre mí

Hi! I’m Oxana, a friendly, open-minded and multilingual professional with a background in Psychology, education and international communication. I spent many years living and working in London and now live in Spain.

I genuinely enjoy talking to people, listening to their stories and creating a relaxed space where they can simply be themselves. I’m naturally curious and happy to chat about everyday life, relationships, travel, culture, books, films, personal goals or just how your day has been.

I’m also a qualified English teacher, so I’m very happy to be a Talk Buddy for anyone who would like to practise their conversational English naturally and build confidence while chatting. I speak English, Russian and Italian fluently and also speak Spanish.

I’m warm, patient, non-judgemental and a good listener — and I believe sometimes a friendly conversation can make a real difference to someone’s day.

Experiencia

I have several years of experience in teaching, Psychology and working closely with people from many different cultures and backgrounds. I currently work as a private online tutor, teaching English and Psychology to adults and young people.

I am a qualified teacher with a PGCE from University College London and a Trinity CertTESOL qualification. My background in Psychology has given me particularly strong listening, communication and interpersonal skills.

Before teaching, I spent ten years working internationally with British Airways, where communication, empathy, discretion and making people feel comfortable were an important part of my role. I have lived and worked in several countries and am very comfortable communicating with people of different ages, nationalities and personalities.
